Welcome to Verdigris Lower Elementary!

I am so excited to welcome you to our school! It is a privilege to serve as the principal of such a wonderful school community. Verdigris has a strong tradition of excellence, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a team that is dedicated to helping every child learn, grow, and succeed.

I believe elementary school is where we lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. While academics are important, I also believe that the best learning happens when children feel safe, loved, and connected. Building strong relationships with our students and families is at the heart of everything we do.

At Verdigris Lower Elementary, we value teamwork, collaboration, and open communication. We know that when families and schools work together, students thrive. Our goal is for every child to feel welcomed, encouraged, and excited to come to school each day.

A little about me—I am married and a proud mom of two boys, ages 8 and 10. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, cheering on sports teams, and camping. I have always loved working with children because I believe we have the opportunity to make a difference not only in their lives today, but also in the people they become in the future. Being a trusted adult who helps create positive memories, build confidence, and encourage growth is truly a gift.
