Welcome to the Jim Anderson Early Childhood Development Center, also known as Verdigris ECDC!

Choosing where your child will begin their educational journey is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent. Early childhood education lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning, and we are honored that so many families choose to begin that journey with us.

As I begin my eighth year as principal of the ECDC, I remain passionate about creating a school where children are excited to learn each day. Our classrooms are filled with curiosity, creativity, laughter, and meaningful learning experiences. While our students have fun every day, there is serious purpose behind everything we do. These early years are where children develop the academic, social, and emotional skills that will support them throughout their education.

Verdigris holds a special place in my family’s story. My husband and I chose to raise our family here because of the district’s reputation for excellence and both of our sons proudly attended Verdigris from Pre-K through graduation in 2020. Watching them grow through each stage of their education reinforced what I already believed…a strong start truly matters.

At the ECDC, our goal is to partner with families to ensure every child feels safe, loved, challenged, and successful. We are committed to providing a positive first school experience that inspires a lifelong love of learning.
